2019 Annual Parish Meeting

Minutes of the 2019 Annual Parish Meeting

Held 13th March 2019 at 7.00pm prior to the Council Meeting @ Belmont School Harrowby Lane.

There was one parishioner present and eight councillors.

1.   Apologies were received from Councillors: N Craft, Y Martin & M Radley

Present were Chairman G Parnham, R Wright, J Anderson, P Bavin, G Chivers, A Gregory R Keeler, W Charley.

2.   Minutes of the 2018 meeting: these were accepted as a true record on a proposal by G Parnham sec by J Anderson.

3.   Updates from the last meeting: there were no updates.

4.   Past Chairman’s Report: Councillor P Bakker stated there was nothing new to report not covered within normal business.

5.   Parishioners Points Raised: The resident present raised flooding on Harrowby Lane and water flooding into his neighbour’s garden. It is believed this is coming from a blocked conduit taking the water from the hillside above Chatsworth Drive. LCC will be looking at this as part of their investigations of flooding along the Withambrook.  Harrowby Lane-Chatsworth Ave: currently, we seem to be no nearer a solution. Our councillors trying to get all parties involved to co-operate.
